Sunday was a statement game for the Denver Broncos. After a four-game losing streak, they beat the Washington Football Team by seven but no one saw that as a really huge win. That meant they went into Week 9 with many counting them out against the Dallas Cowboys who were on a six-game winning streak.

Apparently, no one told Denver they weren’t supposed to win this game because they came out and dominated. An early fourth-down stop after giving up a long kickoff return set the tone as their defense held Dallas scoreless until late in the fourth quarter. At that point, it was already 30-0 and in the bag.

Dallas scored 16 points late to make it 30-16 but this was a much bigger blowout than that. The offense was insane with Teddy Bridgewater completing 19-of-28 pass attempts for 249 yards with a touchdown and no picks. The running game had 190 yards and two touchdowns with Javonte Williams going for 111 yards and Melvin Gordon netting 80.

Defensively, they made life miserable for Dak Prescott who was under duress all night and had to throw from some uncomfortable spots which led to some bad passes. With a game against Philly up next, the Broncos could continue their hot streak and get back into the mix in the AFC.
