13. team. 47. . . Previous: 15th. New England Patriots

Nobody knows how to show up for a game dressed to intimidate an opponent quite like Bill Belichick. The New England Patriots head coach showed up to Carolina with a sweater that looked like it was only half on since the lower part matched his sweatpants.

If that wasn’t impressive enough, he then had one leg pulled up to show off his incredible crew socks. This fit was easily the best of the weekend and it showed the Panthers that he clearly spent the past week holed up in a dungeon preparing for this game.

That showed as they made it look easy. The Patriots had a touchdown from Damien Harris and one from Hunter Henry in the first half to set the tone. Then in the second half, while the home team was trying to get back into the game, cornerback J.C. Jackson shut that idea down.

Jackson had an interception that he took back 88 yards for a touchdown as Sam Darnold was still seeing ghosts against this team.

This was the third win in a row for New England and their fourth in the past five games — their only loss in that span was the overtime defeat at the hands of Dallas. Suddenly, they seem to be a team to watch out for.
