Previous: 29th. Jacksonville Jaguars. 27. team. 52. .

They still may have let Urban Meyer down because they didn’t get 250 yards passing or 250 yards receiving — as he demanded they do every single game — but the Jacksonville Jaguars still pulled off the biggest upset in Week 9.

At home against the Buffalo Bills, the Jags somehow held their opponent to just six points. They shut down the running game as Buffalo had only 22 yards from their running backs. They did get 50 from Josh Allen, but the quarterback also had to throw it 47 times due to the inability to move it on the ground.

He also had two interceptions, including one to Josh Allen of the Jaguars. It was the first time in history that a player with the same name as the opposing quarterback scored an interception, and for good measure, Jacksonville’s Allen had eight tackles and a sack.

While Buffalo’s Allen might be the one who is mentioned in MVP talks, it was the defensive player who stood out and earned the player of the game award in this one.

Jacksonville didn’t have a lot of firepower on offense and even had Trevor Lawrence leave for a few plays with an injury. Still, they did enough to move to 2-6 on the season. They’re not threatening to make a run but this was still a fun weekend for this young roster.
