3 Chiefs who have offered almost nothing to the team in 2021

3. Josh Gordon, WR

Playing in five games so far with the Chiefs this season, Josh Gordon has just one reception for 11 yards.

Although he’s been out of football (NFL, at least) for some time, it’s got to be extremely disappointing for the Kansas City Chiefs who obviously bought into the idea that Gordon’s size and athleticism could immediately translate in their already loaded and explosive offense.

It’s been the exact opposite, thus far.

Byron Pringle and Demarcus Robinson are still playing over Gordon, which isn’t entirely unexpected but at the same time, why did the Chiefs sign this guy?

At least get Gordon some easy ones where he can try to create after the catch, or take a couple of deep shots his way weekly to at least attempt to get him involved.

Four targets since he signed with the team?

That’s ridiculous on the part of the team for their efforts at getting him involved, and it’s disappointing from Gordon’s perspective as well.
