After losing three straight games, the Chicago Bears travel to Pittsburgh to take on the Steelers in a Week 9 must-win game. Here are three players who must step up if they want to win the game.

The Chicago Bears go on the road this week to face the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Bears are on a three-game skid and this has the feel of a must-win game. They have a 3-5 record and a loss this week makes it pretty difficult to come back.

The Bears and Steelers play the final game of Week 9 on Monday Night Football. They have an up-and-down time on Mondays. Overall, they are 32-40. However, they are 16-8 since 2006. Under head coach Matt Nagy, they are 2-2 on Monday Nights.

The Bears have been a Jekyll and Hyde team. There are times when the defense looks very tough and impenetrable but at other times it looks like Swiss cheese. The defense had both experiences in both halves of their game last week against the San Francisco 49ers.

They looked tough to beat in the first half and had quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo confused. In the second half, however, Garoppolo and the Niners got big chunks of yards and scored at will.

On the other hand, the Bears’ offense has struggled throughout the season. Once again, the unit ranks at or near the bottom in most categories. Moving the ball and scoring have been troublesome. They average just 15.4 points per game, ranking 31st, and average only 264 yards of offense, good for dead last.

The Bears need to have a complete game if they have any hope of pulling an upset. They’ve done a good job of coming back after tough, embarrassing games. Let’s see if that continues this week. For that to happen, here are three players who need to step up and play well.
