Dallas Cowboys Round 4 pick: Otito Ogbonnia, NT, UCLA

So far in 2021, Carlos Watkins has been a pretty solid nose tackle for Dallas but they could stand to add more depth. They do exactly that with the selection of Otito Ogbonnia from UCLA with the first of two picks they own in Round 4.

Ogbonnia is in the midst of his best season for the Bruins with 21 tackles, four going for a loss, and one sack. His selection pairs him again with Osa Odighizuwa who was his teammate at UCLA — and who has also been enjoying some success as a rookie.

Dallas Cowboys Round 4 pick: Austin Stogner, TE, Oklahoma

Dalton Schultz is having a great season thus far with 37 receptions for 424 yards with three touchdowns. This is after recording 63 catches for 615 yards and four touchdowns in 2020 which was his breakout campaign.

It was an unexpected season for Schultz since he entered the year behind Blake Jarwin who suffered a torn ACL in Week 1. Now with Schultz in the final year of his deal, the Cowboys will have a decision to make — and that could lead to them paying their current starter and freeing up the space by releasing Jarwin who is in the second season of a three-year extension.

Should that happen, they will need more depth which is why Austin Stogner is the pick here. The Oklahoma tight end had a big 2020 season but has taken a step back this year. Still, his ability to play in-line and as a receiver should help him get drafted, and working behind Schultz could be a good fit for him.
