2022 NFL mock draft: Ohio State Buckeyes wide receiver Chris Olave (2) celebrates his touchdown catch against Penn State Nittany Lions during the second quarter of their game at Ohio Stadium in Columbus, Ohio on October 30, 2021.Osu21psu Kwr 25 /

WR. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Ohio State. Chris Olave. 19. 53

19. Cleveland Browns: Chris Olave, WR, Ohio State

Back-to-back wide receivers from The Ohio State University come off the board as the team that missed out on OBJ landed Garrett Wilson and now the team that “freed” OBJ takes Chris Olave.

What made Beckham a bad fit with the Browns was their offense, not Baker Mayfield, which is designed for the quarterback to throw to a spot and expect his guy to be there. Beckham at times freelanced and that led to issues.

Olave is the exact opposite as he’s a technician. He will be where he’s supposed to and while he might not be as athletic as Beckham, he will do much better with this team.

Pick Analysis. Clemson. player. Scouting Report. CB. Andrew Booth, Jr.. 20. 47

20. New England Patriots: Andrew Booth Jr., CB, Clemson

The past couple of seasons have been all about rebuilding for the New England Patriots and they’re doing a solid job of turning things around in a hurry. They’re playing much better as the season moves along and after nine weeks, they boast a winning record.

This doesn’t mean they’re where they want to be and one thing they still need to do is find their next No. 1 cornerback. Adding Andrew Booth, Jr. from Clemson should help in that department as they bring in a player to try and fill the void left by the Stephon Gilmore trade.
