player. 54. Scouting Report. LB. Christian Harris. 15. Pick Analysis. Alabama

15. Philadelphia Eagles (via Indianapolis Colts): Christian Harris, LB, Alabama

Look, it’s the Philadelphia Eagles on the clock again.

With the way things have shaken out so far, the Eagles wind up with three picks in the first 15 selections of this draft and all three go toward help on the defensive side of the ball. This isn’t to say their offense doesn’t need help but they do have some playmakers such as DeVonta Smith and Dallas Goedert, so they really just take the best player at each spot and that ends up stockpiling talent on defense for them.

This pick ends up landing them Christian Harris from Alabama as they bring ins a playmaking linebacker who can play sideline-to-sideline.

Scouting Report. 16. player. 45. Pick Analysis. EDGE. USC. Drake Jackson

16. Denver Broncos: Drake Jackson, EDGE, USC

Von Miller was traded to the Los Angeles Rams at the deadline which was a wise move from the Denver Broncos since they were able to get some draft capital in exchange for a player who was likely headed out in the offseason anyway.

It does, however, open a hole when it comes to rushing the passer for Denver. That’s why they go after Drak Jackson from USC. He’s long, explosive, and has a high ceiling which makes him a good pick at this point in the draft.
