FanDuel DFS NFL picks and advice for Week 10 of the 2021 NFL season to help you build the perfect DFS fantasy football lineup.
Welcome back to another week of FanDuel DFS advice, this time for Week 10 of the NFL season. I will be the first to admit I did not foresee the myriad of upsets that occurred in Week 9, and therefore suffered the consequences when it came to DFS.
While I played plenty of pieces from the Ravens and Vikings game, which went well over its Vegas total, the only player that really got there in terms of fantasy points was Lamar Jackson, while players like Cook and Jefferson had solid games in real life but did not really get it done for fantasy.
Looking ahead to Week 10, the Chicago Bears, Cincinnati Bengals, Houston Texans, and New York Giants are all on bye. While these teams are not very fantasy-relevant in the first place, players from the Baltimore Ravens, Miami Dolphins, Kansas City Chiefs, Las Vegas Raiders, San Francisco 49ers, and Los Angeles Rams will also all be unavailable.
FanDuel NFL Picks, Week 10: Best DFS fantasy football lineup
When talking about players I will reference the salaries and salary cap of a typical FanDuel tournament. I will also show a complete sample lineup, which consists of nine positions: QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, WR, TE, FLEX, and DEF.
Note that your individual strategy should change based on the type of contests you enter, though I will reference different strategies for both cash and tournament formats.
Without further ado, here are picks and FanDuel DFS advice for every position for Week 10 of the NFL season!
FanDuel DFS NFL Week 10 picks and lineup advice: Quarterback
Last week, if you did not play Lamar Jackson or Justin Herbert you likely did not have success at the quarterback position. This week there are two quarterbacks that I view as incredibly safe, and would be trying to pay up for them in my cash lineup.
Josh Allen ($8700) is coming off one of his poorest weeks as a passer in his career, against the Jacksonville Jaguars of all teams. I like his chances at a huge bounce-back game against the Jets this week as 14-point favorites. With the way the Bills defense has been playing, Allen should see plenty of possessions in a game where the Bills would like to run up the score to prove last week was an outlier.
Secondly, Tom Brady ($8300) has scored at least two touchdowns in all but one game this season, including five games with at least four passing touchdowns. Now he gets to face the Washington Football team, one of the worst pass defenses in the league. Brady becomes a bit riskier of a play if Chris Godwin is out along with Antonio Brown, but he can get it done with anybody.
I am also willing to go back to Dak Prescott ($8100) after his poor performance against Denver, as the Cowboys face the Falcons as nine-point favorites in a game with a 55-point over-under. With all these points implied for the Cowboys, Vegas clearly expects them to right the ship after their embarrassing performance in Week 9, and Dak should be one of the primary beneficiaries.
Carson Wentz ($7500) has very quietly put together a solid season in both real life and fantasy. After a slow start, he has thrown for multiple touchdown passes in the past six games, a trend that looks to continue against a poor Jacksonville defense.
Finally, as previously mentioned the Falcons versus Cowboys game has a total of 55 points, making Matt Ryan ($7300) a very appealing option at his low price. While he has certainly had some questionable weeks, he should be forced to throw in order to keep up with Dallas and could have himself a nice game even if the Falcons do not come out with a win.
