. Previous: 10th. Buffalo Bills. 8. team. 16.

In Week 9, the Buffalo Bills managed just six points as they lost 9-6 to the Jacksonville Jaguars. It was the biggest upset of the weekend and there’s no way the Bills didn’t walk away from that one feeling embarrassed. There’s no denying they’re the better team and they simply failed to show up — perhaps due to looking past their opponent.

That didn’t happen in Week 10. Buffalo made sure not to lose to another inferior opponent. They dropped 45 on the New York Jets in a 45-17 win and that included them scoring 21 in the third quarter alone. Josh Allen, who struggled mightily against the Jags, threw for 366 yards with two touchdowns and was aided by a running back committee that went for four touchdowns.

What was most impressive though, was their defense. They surrendered 14 points when the game was already decided as they shut the Jets down for the majority of the night. They even cooled off all the Mike White hype as they picked off the New York quarterback four times in the game with Levi Wallace, Jordan Poyer, Taron Johnson, and Tre’Davious White all getting in on the fun.

Buffalo’s win was huge as well since the Patriots knocked off Cleveland and are suddenly just a half-game behind the Bills. A division that looked to be squarely in their hands is suddenly being very contested and they cannot afford any more mishaps like they had in Week 9.
