2021 NFL Power Rankings Week 11: Packers take top spot, Cowboys rebound
By Randy Gurzi
Right now, the Miami Dolphins are on a winning streak. Sure, it’s only two games but when you were 1-7 just two weeks ago, you’ll take any winning streak you can get.
As for the teams they defeated, it’s easy to shrug off their win over the Houston Texans since they’ve been a complete mess this year. However, their Week 10 victory was a surprising one that sent shockwaves through the NFL.
Miami defeated the heavily-favored Baltimore Ravens which helped every team in contention for the No. 1 seed in the AFC as well as the three teams in the AFC North who are trying to catch Baltimore. But that’s not the real shockwave that was created.
Instead, that came when Robert Hunt made the play of the season. Well, almost.
The big offensive lineman caught a screen pass — which was not meant for him — and took it to the house. It wasn’t an easy road either as he broke one tackle and then dove for the end zone, flipping in and extending for the score.
Sadly, the play didn’t count since he was an ineligible receiver but it was easily the most exciting play of the night.
It made its round through every highlight show and the Dolphins even made sure to commemorate the moment with the greatest elevator ever.
Miami still has a long way to go but they were at least able to have some fun on Thursday.
