Russell Wilson is back but he didn’t look like the Russell Wilson we know. After missing several weeks following finger surgery, the Seattle Seahawks starting quarterback was on the field again as his team took on the Green Bay Packers.

The weather may have been a factor as the west coast team was playing on the frozen tundra in Lambeau Field, and we even saw some snow flurries in this one. Wilson struggled all afternoon with accuracy as he was good on just half of his 40 attempts with 161 yards, no touchdowns, and two interceptions.

A game that was 3-0 in favor of the Packers for the majority of the game really got away from Seattle when Wilson was picked off in the end zone by Kevin King. Another interception came a couple of series later but by then, they were down two scores, and on this field — and in that weather — it was already insurmountable.

Seattle is now 3-6 on the season and it’s not looking as though they’re going to be turning things around. They were hoping they could get hot when Wilson returned but this loss means they’ll likely have to be perfect from here on out in order to get back into the mix. That’s not likely to happen.
