Dallas Cowboys bold prediction No. 3: Tony Pollard runs a kickoff back for six

This season, Dallas is finally utilizing Tony Pollard more on offense and he’s been delivering for them. On the year, he has 445 yards rushing (10 shy of his career-high), as well as 204 yards receiving (which is a career-best for him).

He’s getting chunk yards as well, averaging 5.4 yards per rush and a total of 6.1 per touch. As if that wasn’t enough, Pollard has also been utilized in the return game.

On the season, he has 299 yards on kickoff returns including a high of 54. He’s averaging a personal-best 27.2 yards per return but he still has not done the one thing all return men long to do — run one back for six.

The Chiefs don’t seem to be a team that he will finally get that done against. According to Pro Football Reference, they’re surrendering just 17.4 yards per kick return and Harrison Butker puts 60 percent of them in the end zone for touchbacks. But that doesn’t mean it’s impossible — and Pollard will definitely give it a shot if he has one that he deems returnable.

In Week 11, look for Pollard to return a couple of kicks with one of them leading to him going all the way for a touchdown, celebrating his first ever in style.
