Denver Broncos take RT of the future in round two?

With the second-round pick acquired from the Los Angeles Rams, the Broncos address another problem area offensively with another very unique athlete.

Bernhard Raimann is a native of Austria who moved to Michigan as an exchange student and started off his collegiate career playing the tight end position.

In 2020, he made the transition to tackle and in conjunction with some personal coaching from NFL offensive line coach Paul Alexander, he’s developed into a player whose floor is becoming earlier and earlier in the 2022 NFL Draft.

The late second round may be a laughable projection for Raimann in a couple of months.

At 6-foot-7, Raimann is still growing into his frame at just over 300 pounds, but as he has grown into his frame, his athleticism hasn’t waned. He’s long, strong, explosive, and quick.

The Denver Broncos obviously have former first-round pick Garett Bolles at the left tackle position for the time being, but they need a long-term solution at the right tackle spot.

Bobby Massie has done a solid job there this year but drafting someone to be a mainstay and stop the revolving door should be a priority for George Paton.
