The Chicago Bears try to end their four-game losing streak as they host the Baltimore Ravens. Here are some bold predictions for the game.

The Chicago Bears come out of their bye on a mission. They are currently on a four-game losing streak that has their record at 3-6. The last two losses have been especially tough, as they had leads but ultimately lost.

They have looked better, however. In those last two games, the offense averaged 24.5 points per game. That is a lot higher than the 14.4 average they had in their previous seven games.

Now, however, the Bears want to come away with victories in addition to playing well. Hopefully, they get a full game this week instead of struggling through half a game.

Chicago Bears can beat the Ravens if these bold predictions come to pass

This week, Chicago hosts the Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens are 6-3 this season, but they’ve had their struggles as well. Had it not been for a big fourth-quarter comeback against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 9, they’d be in the midst of a three-game losing streak themselves. They lost to the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 8 and got embarrassed by the 3-7 Miami Dolphins in Week 10. In addition, they struggled against the winless Detroit Lions.

The Chicago Bears have to figure out a way to contain super athlete Lamar Jackson. While the Ravens lead the league in rushing, it’s all been on Jackson’s shoulders. He currently ranks seventh in the NFL in rushing with 639 yards. With his 106 carries, he has an incredible six yards per run. No other Ravens runner has reached 60 carries and no one has run for over 225 yards.

The Bears have to try to neutralize Jackson with a banged-up defense. The status for Khalil Mack, Eddie Jackson, Akiem Hicks, and Alec Ogletree is still up in the air for this week. Hopefully, some or all of them end up playing and help the Bears pull off an upset.

Here, now, are some bold predictions for the Bears this week.
