2022 NFL Mock Draft: Cowboys get steal, Eagles reload in Week 11 mock
17th pick – Cincinnati Bengals: Kenyon Green, OL, Texas A&M
The Cincinnati Bengals made a slightly unpopular decision to take wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase over offensive tackle Penei Sewell in the 2021 NFL Draft.
How’s that one working out?
Chase is in the midst of a historic rookie season for the Bengals.
As good of a pick as Chase was, the Bengals can ill-afford to have any weaknesses on the offensive line moving forward. Joe Burrow needs to be properly protected.
Kenyon Green has played and excelled at a variety of positions on the Texas A&M offensive line. He’s versatile and could plug-and-start wherever the Bengals need him.
18th pick – Las Vegas Raiders: DeMarvin Leal, DL, Texas A&M
Texas A&M trench players go with back-to-back selections here.
The Las Vegas Raiders have plenty of roster issues at the moment, including up front on the defensive line. There are a lot of people who view Leal as a possible top-10 type of player, so getting him at 18 would be nice value especially compared to what the Raiders usually do.
Leal has been productive this season but he hasn’t quite put everything together yet, which is either good news or bad news depending on whether or not you’re a glass-half-full type of person.
