25th pick – Pittsburgh Steelers: Trevor Penning, OT, Northern Iowa

Keep this player’s name in mind when we start talking about the fastest risers in the 2022 NFL Draft class.

Northern Iowa’s Trevor Penning is getting some top-10 love elsewhere, and that hype may soon reach a consensus.

For now, the Pittsburgh Steelers go against the popular quarterback grain in this mock draft scenario and get a nasty left tackle to insert directly into the lineup.

26th pick – Baltimore Ravens: Nicholas Petit-Frere, OT, Ohio State

The AFC North is a perfect 4-for-4 in this 2022 NFL mock draft scenario in upgrading on the offensive line.

Every team in that division went with linemen in this mock draft, and rightfully so. The Ravens are dealing with the aftermath of losing Orlando Brown Jr. in the offseason, although “losing” is a relative term. They seem to be doing just fine with their first-round selections of Rashod Bateman and Odafe Oweh.

Nicholas Petit-Frere has had a fantastic season for Ohio State in 2021, seeing his NFL Draft stock rise considerably. He could step in as a day one starter at right tackle for Baltimore.
