13th pick – Minnesota Vikings: Garrett Wilson, WR, Ohio State
WR. Garrett Wilson. 13. 60. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Ohio State. player
Even with Justin Jefferson and Adam Thielen, the Minnesota Vikings probably wouldn’t be able to pass up the opportunity here to draft arguably the best receiver in the 2022 class.
Garrett Wilson and Justin Jefferson would obviously be the future at the position for the Vikings and Wilson has proven himself to be a dynamic playmaker this season for Ohio State.
He doesn’t have elite size but he plays big and simply doesn’t lose at the catch point.
14th pick – Denver Broncos: Malik Willis, QB, Liberty
Liberty. player. Malik Willis. 14. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. QB. 45
The Denver Broncos, if they miss the playoffs, will likely be looking at a reset at both head coach and quarterback.
Malik Willis is a dynamic talent with tremendous arm strength and speed, but his consistency is not quite there yet.
Nobody is a finished product coming into the NFL, and if you buy a quarterback’s potential, you’ve got to pull the trigger.
General manager George Paton might first take some swings at veterans in a trade, but something has to be done at this position in 2022.
