FanDuel DFS NFL Week 11 picks and lineup advice: Running Back

As always, your running back is going to be the focal point of your lineup, and this week is no exception. While we had a few super cheap punt plays last week in D’Ernest Johnson and Mark Ingram that allowed us to fit plenty of studs in at receiver and running back, but there are not really any players that fit that role this week.

Christian McCaffrey ($10000) is a bit more expensive than I would have liked, but I still think he will be under-rostered for the potential he possesses in tournaments. He is the only running back in the league that can pay off his salary without scoring a touchdown, and he will account for a majority of the Panthers’ offense barring the revival of Cam Newton.

Dalvin Cook ($8400) is still so cheap that I am willing to keep putting him into my lineup until FanDuel raises the price. He has still been as effective as always but has struggled to find the end zone keeping his ceiling low. While the Packers run defense has been solid this year, I am willing to bet on the talent of Cook this week.

On the other side of the ball, AJ Dillon ($7000) will be the most popular play on the slate. While I do believe you have to lock him into your cash format lineups, he is not in the same situation as a guy like D’Ernest Johnson was last week, as he still has to have a solid game to pay off his salary for tournaments, whereas at $5400 last week, D’Ernest Johnson could have done nothing and you would have been fine.

Darrell Williams ($6300) is still the most involved running back in the Chiefs offense and has seen incredible volume in the passing game throughout the season. Even if Clyde Edwards-Helaire ($6300) comes off the IR, I am not afraid to play Williams in cash formats at this cheap of a salary.

Myles Gaskin ($6200) is also going to be a popular play against a historically bad Jets rush defense. While he has been ineffective this year he is still receiving a majority of the work for the Dolphins and should be able to get it done this week.

Finally, I will mention Devonta Freeman ($5700) as one of my favorite cheap running back plays of the week, as I think this Ravens offense will find themselves in the red zone quite a bit and Freeman has clearly established himself as the RB1 for this Ravens team.
