NFL: Ranking the worst QB Chemistry in the league: 22. Russell Wilson to Gerald Everett – Seattle Seahawks

The Seahawks are a hard team to evaluate this season. The offense seemed disjointed to start the season, but this isn’t the first time that’s happened in Seattle. Russell Wilson always figures it out. However, this year, Wilson got hurt as the Seahawks were looking to make a turnaround. He’s been out for a few weeks and is expected to come back soon, but now the Seahawks are 3-5 going into Week 10, and the season is quickly slipping away.

Wilson has great chemistry with DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett. The one pass catcher that doesn’t really have chemistry in this offense is tight end Gerald Everett. The Seahawks took Everett from the Los Angeles Rams in the offseason. Since then, he only has 14 receptions. It’s not like he’s dropping his targets. He only has the ball thrown his way 17 times.

Everett just isn’t having luck with the Seahawks. His best game came in Week 3, but he got hurt in the same game Russell Wilson got hurt. When Everett returned, it was Geno Smith at quarterback. Now, Wilson needs to rebuild the chemistry with his star wide receivers, and he might not have time to try and get the new tight end acclimated to the offense.
