NFL: Ranking the worst QB Chemistry in the league: 12. Jalen Hurts to Jalen Reagor – Philadelphia Eagles

The Philadelphia Eagles spent a first-round pick on Devante Smith at this year’s NFL Draft. It’s not a bad pick. He’s the reigning Heisman Trophy winner and someone who is one of the most dynamic players in the country. However, it was a knock that they literally just spent a first-round pick to take Jalen Reagor the year before.

Reagor still could have had a very big portion of the passing offense. The Eagles wide receiving corps was in tatters at times last season. Travis Fulgham was the team’s leading wide receiver last season. He wasn’t able to get above the Miami Dolphins practice squad. It shows the struggles that Reagor had last season.

This season, those struggles are continuing for Reagor. He’s played all nine games this season, but he only has 139 yards receiving. This is looking more and more like a wasted first-round pick. Reagor isn’t getting open in a place where Jalen Hurts feels good enough to pass to him. They just don’t have the chemistry down, and it’s leading to the Eagles offense moving on without Reagor.
