NFL: Ranking the worst QB Chemistry in the league: 28. Aaron Rodgers to Amari Rodgers – Green Bay Packers

One thing Aaron Rodgers is really good at is getting all of his players involved in the offense. Beyond Davante Adams, who Rodgers helped become the best wide receiver in the league, he’s pulled legitimacy out of Allan Lazard, Marquez Valdez Scantling, and Randall Cobb. Rodgers is able to make anyone legitimate.

Well, not anyone. Despite sharing a last name, Amari Rodgers is not someone that Aaron Rodgers is looking for in pretty much any situation. Amari Rodgers has just three catches this season on five targets despite playing all nine games this season.

Rodgers was a star at Clemson playing with Trevor Lawrence, but he hasn’t had the same success in the pros. He is returning punts sometimes, but there aren’t many other instances where he is getting the ball.

Maybe the wide receiver Rodgers will grow with time. He’s a rookie third-round pick who needs some time to grow in this league. The Packers invested a decent draft pick on Amari Rodgers, so he will get at least one more season to prove he can be productive.
