Remember when the Kansas City Chiefs were falling apart? Good times.
The Chiefs were just 3-4 and having a hard time getting things figured out. They then reeled off a couple of close wins as they barely handled the New York Giants 20-17 before winning 13-7 against a mediocre Green Bay performance led by Jordan Love who was making his first career start.
Then in Week 10, they really got rilling. The Chiefs took it to the Las Vegas Raiders in a 41-14 blowout. They then took on the Dallas Cowboys in Week 11 and again had some questions pop up as they managed just 19 points but their defense played lights out.
Dallas managed just nine points and even with Amari Cooper and CeeDee Lamb out, that was an impressive performance. They made life hard on Dak Prescott and shut Ezekiel Elliott down.
Now, they get a week off to rest up and prepare for a huge stretch that includes three-straight games against AFC West opponents. First is the Denver Broncos, followed by the Las Vegas Raiders, and then the Los Angeles Chargers. Calling these three games make-or-break is too much but if the Chiefs can get through that with three more wins, you can pretty much give them the West. Again.
