2021 NFL Power Rankings Week 13: Cowboys continue to slide, Packers bounce back

Leading up to their Week 12 game, the status of Matt Nagy was all the focus for the Chicago Bears. There were even reporters asking him if reports of his job being on the line were true.

To his credit, Nagy answered the best he could, saying he’s focused on the Lions. He also added that he didn’t believe it was accurate that Thursday was his last game.

"“My focus right now is on these players and on Detroit — that’s it. That’s my job as a head coach and a leader is to do that. These players have been amazing, they’ve been great, and so you have this quick turnaround after a tough loss like that (to Baltimore) and the only thing we can do is focus on the now and do everything we can. It really was a tough question when you get down to it and while Nagy said he respected it, we sometimes forget the human element of things. Still, he did what he was supposed to do and got a win over the Lions.

Andy Dalton played one of his better games as a Bear and led a game-winning drive. Now at 4-7, they’re technically still alive but need to find a way to win against better teams as well.
