Washington Football Team (5-6) at Las Vegas Raiders (6-5)

Could the Las Vegas Raiders actually be getting their mojo back? It’s possible. And yet, they’re relying far too heavily on their kicker Daniel Carlson to win games rather than just simply unleashing the offense that has flashed potential at times this season.

At this point, anything’s possible, especially against a Washington Football Team that has played well for most of the season. They’ve now strung together three straight wins and finagled their way into a playoff spot, as temporarily as it may be.

The big thing for the Raiders will be keeping the Washington offense in check. Taylor Heinicke is as scrappy as NFL quarterbacks come, and has a knack for coming up with a big play in the clutch. Antonio Gibson has also been solid all year long and will need to be slowed if Las Vegas plans on seeing the ball for long in this one.

Ultimately, I believe Derek Carr shows up to play in this one, taking advantage of an underwhelming Washington defense and finding the end zone early and often. The Raiders get a much-needed win and keep pace in the AFC West as they hope to earn one of the final Wild Card spots.
