2021 NFL picks, score predictions for Week 13
San Francisco 49ers (5-5) at Seattle Seahawks (3-8)
Sunday, December 5, 4:25PM ET
I’m sorry, but something is wrong with this Seattle Seahawks team. Even with Russell Wilson back at the helm, the offense has been a shell of its former self and the defense can only do so much. They’re a sinking ship and everyone except diehard fans are running for the lifeboats.
Meanwhile, the San Francisco 49ers have suddenly found themselves. They were expected to be Super Bowl contenders at the start of the season, but got off to a 2-4 start due in large part to injuries. Now that they’re healthy and finding their groove, they’re one of the hottest teams in the NFL and appear ready to rise up the standings.
Even at Lumen Field, the Seahawks seem destined for disaster in this one. They’re awful at slowing opposing running games, and the 49ers have a pretty good one with Elijah Mitchell and Deebo Samuel. And if Wilson can’t get going against the Washington secondary, how does he plan on doing so against the 49ers?
It’s going to be a long day for Seattle, as they already appear ready for the offseason to arrive — and maybe that’s what’s best. As for the 49ers, they’re primed to notch another win and get one step closer to securing a spot in the NFC playoffs.
Prediction: 49ers win 34-13 | Spread: N/A
