2021 NFL picks, score predictions for Week 13
Arizona Cardinals (9-2) at Chicago Bears (4-7)
Sunday, December 5, 1PM ET
Kyler Murray‘s going to be back, right? RIGHT?! Well, I’m sure the Arizona Cardinals are hoping so. And after three weeks watching from the sidelines and the Cardinals’ bye week, all signs are pointing towards the dynamic quarterback being back at in Week 13.
That’s bad news for the Chicago Bears, who have already had a rough go of things this season. Sure, they’re coming off a moral victory against the winless Lions. Big whoop. For the most part, the Bears have been bad this year and didn’t come anywhere near the expectations that were laid for them back in September.
Now they’ll be expected to slow Murray and the rest of the Arizona offense, which has been one of the hardest to contain in 2021. It doesn’t help Chicago’s case that they’ve been awful at slowing the pass this season, having allowed the fifth-best passer rating to opponents up to this point.
Let’s just say this one won’t go well for the Bears. Murray shakes off the rust quickly and tosses a couple of early touchdowns, which then allows James Conner to do his usual thing on the ground in the second half. All is good for the Cardinals as they prepare for the final stretch of the regular season.
Prediction: Cardinals win 31-14 | Spread: Cardinals (-6.5)
