1. Green Bay’s pass unit is perfectly in tune

The Green Bay Packers are a well-oiled machine at this point in the season. After the Rodgers’ immunization debacle and loss to the Chiefs, the team has picked back up on the form they were showing beforehand.

Rodgers was not at his elite brilliant best, but he is still the standard-bearer of an NFL quarterback. He went 28 of 45 on passing attempts for 307 yards and 2 touchdowns, and considering the injury, he is carrying he is controlling the pace of games excellently.

A major problem to start the year was the predictability of the offense. Too many targets were predestined for the hands of Davante Adams. Despite being arguably the best receiver in the NFL, opponents could stifle Green Bay’s production by focusing on him. Now, Adams’ production and talent are being highlighted by the success of those around him.

Rodgers targeted 8 different players through their game against the Rams, spreading the field and allowing the offense to have 6 more first downs than their opponents. The addition of Randall Cobb has worked out as an essential piece of their offense. Cobb went for 95 yards and a touchdown on 4 receptions, and his presence as a veteran leader has elevated this passing unit.

The coaching staff of the Packers knows what their team is. They recognize what they do best, utilize their weapons in the correct fashion, and prepare their team to execute at a high level. At this point in the season, the biggest worry for the staff must be the form of kicker Mason Crosby.

Crosby is last in the league for field goal attempt percentage. Even more damningly, he has made just 12 of 21 field goals since Week 5, including a missed attempt on Sunday. It’s starting to feel like the Green Bay Packers will hope they won’t rely on him in close games come this year’s postseason.
