Every NFL stadium ranked from worst to best: 5. Mercedes-Benz Stadium

We have to give Atlanta Falcons fans major credit. They show up and get loud for their team. Over the past few seasons, they’ve had good reasons to do so. The Falcons haven’t always been considered Super Bowl contenders but they’ve had some of the more exciting teams in the league.

Recently, before the team was gutted, quarterback Matt Ryan and wide receiver Julio Jones lit up the scoreboards. Before them, Atlanta had quite possibly the most exciting quarterback of all time, yes even more than Lamar Jackson, in Michael Vick.

The Georgia Dome had seen it all. So it came as no surprise to see how upset and annoyed fans were when they decided to tear it down in favor of the Mercedes-Benz stadium in 2017. Yet, after giving it a chance, fans couldn’t be happier with their newfound home.

The first thing that we have to point to is the roof. It looks like it came straight out of a sci-fi film. The center of it caves upwards and has gigantic video screens surrounding it. The atmosphere is inviting for fans and hostile for everyone else. Lastly, and most importantly, Atlanta has some of the cheapest concession stands in the entire NFL. The Falcons haven’t brought home a Lombardi or given their new fans much to cheer about since 2017 but when you’re spending a really low amount for a hot dog, you really can’t complain.
