2021 NFL Bold Prediction No. 6: Indianapolis Colts upset the Titans in AFC South

Every season we get reminded of the fact that the NFL season is a marathon, not a sprint. Teams that start out slowly should never give up because anything can happen, especially if they get hot at the right time.

This is true for the New England Patriots who are now a half-game ahead of the Buffalo Bills despite starting out 2-4. They have been getting a ton of credit for sticking it out and winning six in a row, but they’re not the only team that shook off a bad start.

In the AFC South, the Indianapolis Colts appeared dead in the water with an 0-3 start. Since then, they have gone 6-3 and had a three-game winning streak heading into Week 12. They nearly made it four wins straight but couldn’t hold off the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who won by a touchdown after making an impressive comeback.

Still, the Colts are 6-6 which is just two games behind the Tennessee Titans. With Tennessee already sweeping the season series, Indianapolis will need to pass them in the standings to win the South, and cannot rely on a tiebreaker. However, with the Titans losing two in a row, the door is open.

Look for the two teams to continue to trend in opposite directions as the Colts shock the Titans to take their division title.
