2021 NFL Bold Prediction No. 3: Dallas Cowboys beat Cardinals in a double-overtime playoff game to make NFC Championship

Not only will Kyler Murray win the NFL MVP and get his team the No. 1 seed, but he will also nearly get them to the NFC Championship Game. Unfortunately for him, he will come up just short as his home-state team exercises some demons.

The Dallas Cowboys have not been to the NFC Championship Game since the 1995 campaign and that’s been something that’s loomed over their heads for years. In 2021, they got off to a hot start but have lost three games in their last four attempts.

However, they’ll still easily win their division since they’re the only winning team in the NFC East. And once in the playoffs, they have the offensive firepower to compete with anyone — and enough playmakers on defense to be dangerous especially with DeMarcus Lawrence and Randy Gregory coming back.

That will allow them to ride a hot streak in the postseason which reaches its pinnacle when Dak Prescott and Kyler Murray put on a show by having a divisional round battle that goes into two overtimes. In the end, Dallas wins on a clutch throw late from Prescott that sets up a game-winning kick.
