NFL picks and score predictions for Week 14 as the 2021 season nears its end.
13 weeks of the 2021 NFL season are now in the books, and it’s looking like the last quarter of the campaign is going to be quite the show. Week 14 figures to be another doozy as we continue to watch contenders separate themselves from pretenders.
As usual, we’ve got you covered with the Week 14 edition of NFL picks and score predictions. Just as in years passed, I’ll never claim to know what the future holds. As it turns out, odds are high at least a few of my picks will be completely wrong. I will, however, make my selections based on research, experience, and careful consideration.
After an awful outcome in Week 12, things got slightly better in Week 13. It wasn’t a complete turnaround, but my Week 13 NFL picks did manage to result in a 9-5 record. I’ll consider that a win seeing as the previous week’s record was 7-8. With that, I am now 124-74-1 on the season, and am just hoping that the final few weeks of the season aren’t quite as ridiculous.
Just remember that making picks is not a science. Plenty of research goes into it, but there’s no crystal ball — craziness occurs every Sunday. Then again, isn’t that part of the fun of it all?
Now that we’ve gotten all of that out of the way, here are my NFL picks and score predictions for Week 14. Just keep in mind that I assume no responsibility if you choose to place wagers based on my picks — that’s your decision, not mine.

Pittsburgh Steelers (6-5-1) at Minnesota Vikings (5-7)

I just can’t with this Minnesota Vikings team. They have the talent to make noise in the playoffs, but can’t seem to get out of their own way. Two straight losses (including one to the NFL’s then-only winless team) has me wondering if Mike Zimmer will have a job by season’s end.
Furthermore, the visitation of the Pittsburgh Steelers doesn’t bring much Christmas cheers with. The Steelers have been all over the place this year as well, but they’ve been slightly more consistent and aren’t experts of the self-inflicted wound the way the Vikings are.
Pittsburgh’s offense isn’t elite, but it can get going when it wants to. The Vikings defense is a mockery this season, giving up big yards to the worst of quarterbacks (ahem, Jared Goff) and allowing big chunks of yards on the ground. You’d be wise to start Ben Roethlisberger and Najee Harris in this one if they’re on your fantasy team.
Then again, anything is possible when it comes to these two teams. Every time the Vikings have won this season, I’ve picked them to lose. So maybe more of that backwards wizardry will work again. But probably not, because Minnesota loves to bring its fans nothing but pain.
Prediction: Steelers win 31-27 | Spread: Vikings (-3)
