Super Bowl XLVIII was a disaster of a night for the Denver Broncos, but Joe Buck trolling Peyton Manning on the game was far more hilarious.

Fox Sports broadcaster Joe Buck has called many football games, including Super Bowl XLVIII between the Seattle Seahawks and the Denver Broncos. The quarterback for Denver during that game was Peyton Manning.

During a Monday Night game between the Patriots and Bills, Buck was bought on the Manningcast with Peyton and Eli Manning. Peyton asked a question, and Buck’s response was nothing short of a hilarious troll.

Needless to say, it generated an internet buzz, mainly due to how Eli reacted to the joke given how it took place in the house that Eli ruled during his tenure with the New York Giants.

Joe Buck poked a jab at Peyton Manning, but Manning ultimately got the last laugh

The joke may be funny now, but back then, it was as horrible as it could get for the Broncos and their fans who made the trip to East Rutherford. They were the No.1 offense in the league, hoping to make a statement against the No.1 defense in the league. It didn’t happen.

A 43-8 disaster against Richard Sherman and the Legion of Boom highlighted a botched snap on the first play of the game for a safety, a pick-six, and a kickoff return by Percy Harvin to start the second half, culminating in Seattle’s only Super Bowl championship, and Peyton’s second Super Bowl loss.

Thankfully for Manning and the Mile High City, they were able to right the wrongs and, two years later, took home the Lombardi Trophy with a 24-10 over the Carolina Panthers in Super Bowl 50. It allowed Manning to ride off into the sunset with two trophies and a Hall of Fame career locked up.

The Manningcast has received positive views, but the ratings will surely be up after hearing that Joe Buck dropped an all-timer on Peyton Manning. It brings up bad memories, but it’s still hilarious every time you listen to it, that is unless you are a Broncos fan.
