Dallas Cowboys bold prediction No. 2: Micah Parsons, DeMarcus Lawrence, Randy Gregory all notch a sack
As impressive as Trevon Diggs has been for Dallas in 2020, linebacker Micah Parsons has been just as dominant. The 2021 first-round pick out of Penn State has already set the franchise rookie record with 10 sacks this season. However, he’s more than just a pass-rusher as he’s also been a star at linebacker.
On the season, Parsons has72 tackles, 16 of which have gone for a loss, as well as two forced fumbles and two pass breakups. He’s been playing out of his mind — so much so that the team finally moved on from Jaylon Smith — and on Sunday, he will finally have some of the team’s better veterans out there with him.
Randy Gregory is set to return which means he and DeMarcus Lawrence — who was out from Week 1 until their last game against New Orleans — will both be on the field for the first time since their opening day game.
With their big three pass rushers finally together, look for Taylor Heinicke to spend much of the night trying to get away from pressure. He may be able to occasionally, but all three of these guys should notch a sack as the Cowboys defense continues to play inspired football.
