Dallas Cowboys free agent who will be gone No. 1:  Michael Gallup, WR

Michael Gallup continues to be a key piece of the Cowboys’ offense. When things aren’t going well, quarterback Dak Prescott looks to No. 13, and more often than not, he delivers.

Sunday was a prime example as he had 60 yards on five catches, helping the Cowboys move the chains and hold off Washington. It was the fourth game in a row with five receptions for Gallup who has been great since returning from a knee injury.

Unfortunately for Dallas, he’s also nearing the end of his rookie deal. Gallup, a third-round pick in 2018, is in his fourth NFL season and has proven that he deserves a big contract. The problem is, it will be hard to get that deal in Big D.

Dallas just paid Amari Cooper a premium contract to play wideout for them and CeeDee Lamb is in the second season of his contract, meaning he’s going to be up for a new deal before long.

That doesn’t mean it’s impossible for them to find a way to keep Gallup but there’s not a great chance they will invest that heavily when Lamb and Cooper are already under contract.
