6. Los Angeles Rams: Plays on Monday Night Football vs. Arizona Cardinals

At 8-4, the Los Angeles Rams are still in-line to make the playoffs. However, the NFC West is starting to feel as though it’s out of reach. They can make some ground this week though as they head to Arizona to take on the 10-2 Arizona Cardinals.

These two teams met back in Week 4 when they were each 3-0. At the time, L.A. seemed to be the best team in the NFC whereas many of us were still wondering if the Cards were for real. They answered that question with a 37-20 victory and they have continued to roll since then.

Entering Week 14, Arizona is now 10-2 and the Rams are 8-4. They’re also just one game removed from a frustrating three-game losing streak as they were defeated by the Tennessee Titans, San Francisco 49ers, and Green Bay Packers.

Their skid ended with authority as they knocked off the Jacksonville Jaguars 37-7, but then again, it was the Jags who are an absolute dumpster fire right now thanks to the presence of Urban Meyer as head coach. This week will be huge as the Rams can get back into the NFC West race while also re-asserting themselves as true contenders. On the flip side, a loss will all but end their NFC West hopes while continuing to raise questions about their chances against the elite teams.
