Is Daniel Jones the answer at quarterback for the New York Giants? There will be those who say he’s not as well as many who want to see what he can do with a different front office and coaching staff. The Giants will likely have that after this season as even the firing of Jason Garrett didn’t mask how bad things have been under Joe Judge.

While there’s no clear answer there, we do know that Mike Glennon is not the one to replace Jones. With Jones sidelined, Glennon was under center again in Week 14 and he struggled — to say the least. He finished with 17 completions on 36 passes with 191 yards.

Glennon did have two touchdowns and just one pick — as well as a rushing touchdown — but two of his scores came in the fourth quarter when the game was already decided. As for his pick, he threw one to Nick Niemann while trailing by 16 — and looking for a miracle. They were never coming back but that just ensured it wasn’t happening.

Now with a record of 4-9, there’s not much left outside of pride to play for in New York. They’re again going to have a losing record and will again be watching the playoffs from home. But at least they’re better than their roommates, right?
