NFL picks and score predictions for Week 15 as the 2021 season winds down.

Can you believe it? Only four weeks remain in the 2021 NFL season, and it’s coming down to the wire as we wait to see how the playoff picture will pan out. This upcoming weekend figures to deliver more madness as teams jockey for position, so let’s get you prepared.

As usual, we’ve got you covered with the Week 15 edition of NFL picks and score predictions. Just as in years passed, I’ll never claim to know what the future holds. As it turns out, odds are high at least a few of my picks will be completely wrong. I will, however, make my selections based on research, experience, and careful consideration.

Phew! After a few weeks of average to subpar performances on my part, I’m finally back in double-digit wins. My Week 14 NFL picks resulted in an 11-3 record, which is a great place to be with the playoffs just around the corner. That moves me to 135-77-1 on the season. It could be better, but I’ll take what I can get in what’s been a ridiculously unpredictable year of football.

Just remember that making picks is not a science. Plenty of research goes into it, but there’s no crystal ball — craziness occurs every Sunday. Then again, isn’t that part of the fun of it all?

Now that we’ve gotten all of that out of the way, here are my NFL picks and score predictions for Week 15. Just keep in mind that I assume no responsibility if you choose to place wagers based on my picks — that’s your decision, not mine.

2021 NFL Picks – Predicting Week 15 action across the league

Kansas City Chiefs (9-4) at Los Angeles Chargers (8-5)

Thursday, December 16, 8:20PM ET

The Kansas City Chiefs have been cruising as of late, winning their last six games and looking like the team that’s represented the AFC in the last two Super Bowls. Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end.

The Los Angeles Chargers have also been catching fire as of late, although in not nearly as dominant of fashion. Still, they’re relying on the elite talents of Justin Herbert to carry them to the playoffs, and it’s paying off. All they need to do is take down their division rivals and they’ll be sitting pretty in the standings.

It won’t be an easy win for the Chargers. The Kansas City defense has been a brick wall recently, and they aren’t going to give Herbert any leeway. However, as long as he’s got weapons like Keenan Allen, Mike Williams, and Austin Ekeler to work with, anything is possible.

Patrick Mahomes will obviously do his best to spoil Los Angeles’ plans, but we see a sudden reversion to his turnover-prone self of earlier this season. Three interceptions cost the Chiefs dearly as the Chargers squeak by with an invaluable victory to further cement themselves as one of the AFC’s best teams.

Prediction: Charger win 34-31 | Spread: Chiefs (-4)
