Cincinnati Bengals (7-6) at Denver Broncos (7-6)

Sunday, December 19, 4:05PM ET

I know the Cincinnati Bengals are better than this. They’ve had a roller-coaster season that he’s some extremely high highs and some low lows. However, if they plan on booking a trip to the postseason, they need to get their butts in gear and start winning games.

Doing so against the Denver Broncos won’t be easy, but it’s possible. Honestly, it’ll come down to their defense. I’m confident the Bengals can produce points, even against a solid Denver defense. However, if they can’t put pressure on Teddy Bridgewater and keep Javonte Williams and Melvin Gordon from consistently moving the chains, they’re going to have a bad time.

I don’t think that’ll be the case, though. Joe Burrow delivers in the clutch, connecting with JaMarr Chase and Tee Higgins early and often to produce big points. Meanwhile, we see another dazzling performance from Trey Hendrickson, who makes life miserable for Bridgewater.

This could be one of the games of the week, with both teams scratching and clawing for postseason positioning. While it comes down to the wire, the Bengals find a way to get the victory on the road and keep pressure on the rest of the teams racing for the final Wild Card spot.

Prediction: Bengals win 37-35 | Spread: Broncos (-1.5)
