Green Bay Packers (10-3) at Baltimore Ravens (8-5)

Sunday, December 19, 4:25PM ET

Heading into Week 14, I was already concerned about the downward trajectory of the Baltimore Ravens. Then Lamar Jackson got hurt, and my opinion that they’re going cold at the worst possible time was solidified. Often times, it’s all about hitting your stride at the right time.

The opposite is happening with the Ravens. After excelling for much of the 2021 campaign, they’ve limped through the final few weeks and now could be without their star quarterback. Although Tyler Huntley has held his own in Jackson’s place, it’s not a promising sign for a team that hasn’t delivered down the stretch.

As for the Green Bay Packers, they continue to shine as the regular season nears its end. Aaron Rodgers is playing as well as he has all year long, and the Green Bay defense is among the best in the business right now. As long as they can stay healthy and keep the momentum rolling, the Packers have the makings of a legitimate Super Bowl threat.

Even if Jackson is able to go in this one, the Packers still get the win. Their defense overwhelms whoever is under center, and a mix of Rodgers, Aaron Jones, A.J. Dillon and Davante Adams is more than enough to secure the win as they stay in the hunt for the NFC’s top seed.

Prediction: Packers win 32-24 | Spread: Packers (-4.5)
