New Orleans Saints (6-7) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (10-3)

Sunday, December 19, 8:20PM ET

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been rolling as of late, and I don’t see that changing with the New Orleans Saints coming to town. Despite the divisional battle factor, the Buccaneers are playing excellent football and show no signs of slowing down.

The same, however, cannot be said about the Saints. Yes, they finally snapped their sixth-game losing streak in Week 14 — against the Jets. Even then, it was far from an impressive performance on New Orleans’ part. Taysom Hill is going to need to play the game of his life (with some help from Alvin Kamara) if the Saints are to win this one.

Unfortunately, I don’t see those things happening. Well, Kamara might come up with a few electric plays, but the Buccaneers boast one of the NFL’s top run defenses. Furthermore, they’ll be ready to capitalize on any mistake Hill makes, which we know those often come in copious amounts.

Tom Brady has the Buccaneers looking like a legitimate Super Bowl contender, just as they were a season ago. As long as they remain relatively healthy and the offense continues to flourish as it has in recent weeks, there’s no denying their potential to go the distance.

Prediction: Buccaneers win 34-21 | Spread: Buccaneers (-11)
