Arizona Cardinals (10-3) at Detroit Lions (1-11-1)

Sunday, December 19, 1PM ET

Okay, shake it off, Arizona Cardinals. They suffered their third defeat of the 2021 campaign in Week 14, a painful defeat at the hands of the Rams that’s put a serious dent in their pursuit of the top seed in the NFC. Luckily, a bounce-back seems in order in Week 15.

Why? Well they’ve got a meeting with the Detroit Lions on the docket. As you may or may not know, the Lions have been pretty bad this season. So much so that they’ve managed to win only one game in 13 tries. It’s been a rough year for Motor City fans, but at least they have the offseason to look forward to.

For Arizona, they’ve got the playoffs to prepare for. And that means getting the W in this one to help right the ship. Kyler Murray needs to work out some of the kinks, and the Cardinals defense also has some ground to gain with only three weeks to go before the playoffs. Hopefully, James Conner is also good to go after suffering an injury at the end of their Week 14 loss.

The Cardinals are on the road. That means it’s pretty much guaranteed they’re going to win. Plus, it’s not like the Lions pose a serious threat to topple them for a second game in a row. Arizona gets back on track, and Detroit keeps its eye on the prize — the top pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.

Prediction: Cardinals win 33-17 | Spread: Cardinals (-14)
