All Saquon, no BARKley

It is admirable to see all the Saquon truthers out there continuing to root for him. The bad news is that he is still on the Giants and Daniel Jones is still the quarterback. With a poor offensive line and mediocre quarterback play, Saquon Barkley does not have much to work with.

For starters, I will not put all the blame on Barkley. He has battled through injuries and with that offensive line blocking for him, he is practically fighting for his life. PFF has the Giants offensive line ranked 31 of 32 lines.

Nonetheless, Barkley is too talented to not produce. There are players such as James Robinson who plays for arguably the worst team in the NFL, the Jaguars who outproduce Barkley.

Barkley will be receiving coal this holiday season, but there is a bright side. Saquon will fall in fantasy drafts but still has RB1 potential. It is a team sport and once the Giants figure it out or Barkley moves on, he will return to the top of the running back hierarchy.
