Chicago Bears (4-10) at Seattle Seahawks (5-8)

Sunday, December 26, 4:05PM ET

What?! The Seattle Seahawks on a winning streak? Believe it or not, that appears to be what’s happening as we head into Week 16. I apologize for suggesting that the Seahawks should just pack it up and prepare for the offseason.

In fact, it appears Seattle isn’t ready to call it quits just yet. It’s almost too late, but Russell Wilson is finding his groove and the Seahawks are enjoying a nice late-season surge. Rashad Penny is finally healthy and producing like the former first-round pick he is. Now if only D.K. Metcalf could get his act together.

Either way, the Seahawks should have their way against the Chicago Bears, who have been nearly laughable during the second half of this season. Justin Fields can’t get the offense moving consistently and turns the ball over far too often. Even the Chicago defense isn’t playing up to its potential.

The Seahawks need a win if they have any hope of remaining relevant in the NFC playoff race, and that’s exactly what they get. They don’t score too many points, but they manage more than enough to outpace the Bears and keep themselves from being eliminated from postseason contention.

Prediction: Seahawks win 20-14 | Spread: Seahawks (-7)
