Denver Broncos (7-7) at Las Vegas Raiders (7-7)

Sunday, December 26, 4:25PM ET

I’m just not sure what to think of either of these teams at this point in the season. Both sit at 7-7, and have struggled to secure wins down the stretch. It’s anyone’s game in Week 16, with the eventual outcome likely coming down to who wants it more and who makes fewer mistakes.

I’m a bit wary of the Denver Broncos with Teddy Bridgewater likely to miss this one after suffering a head injury in Week 15. However, even with Drew Lock under center, the Broncos should be able to avoid a complete offensive meltdown against a suspect Las Vegas Raiders defense.

Then again, it’s not like there’s much to write home about with this Raiders offense. Derek Carr looks like he may be on his way out of Las Vegas, and he’s not getting help from his fellow playmakers. It hasn’t helped that Darren Waller has been hurt, but it’s clear that the current setup isn’t the answer.

This may be the first time I’ve ever used a picture of a kicker, and I’m not going to apologize for it. This figures to be a contest with minimal scoring, with one team potentially getting most if not all of their points via field goal. The Broncos prevail and keep their slim playoffs hopes alive.

Prediction: Broncos win 15-10 | Spread: Raiders (-1)
