Miami Dolphins (7-7) at New Orleans Saints (7-7)

Monday, December 27, 8:15PM ET

Man, this is a tough one. The Dolphins are currently riding a six-game winning streak as they look to maintain their position in the playoff hunt. Meanwhile, the Saints are suddenly worth taking seriously after shutting out the Buccaneers in primetime.

Still, I just can’t put any confidence behind a team that’s starting Taysom Hill at quarterback. He’s too erratic of an option under center, and the Saints lack the necessary weapons to compete with other playoff contenders. Alvin Kamara isn’t going to be enough to get the job done in this one.

Tua Tagovailoa has an up-and-down effort last weekend but gets back on track in Week 16 against a New Orleans defense that hasn’t been that great this season. They may have kept Brady under wraps, but that seems more like a fluke than a sudden resurgence for this squad. Put simply, the Dolphins are going to score some points this week.

New Orleans doesn’t roll over, but they can’t slow down the Miami offense enough to secure the win. The Dolphins miraculously notch their seventh straight win as they look to prove that you can’t consider a team down and out through eight weeks, even at 1-7.

Prediction: Dolphins win 24-20 | Spread: N/A
