New York Giants (4-10) at Philadelphia Eagles (6-7)

Sunday, December 26, 1PM ET

As do so many other NFC teams, the Philadelphia Eagles still find themselves well within striking distance of the playoffs despite a sub-.500 record. They’ve been competitive all year long, and get a friendly roll of the dice with this matchup against the hapless New York Giants.

Obviously, nothing is guaranteed in the NFL, especially in a divisional showdown. However, it feels safe to say the Eagles stand a very good chance of walking away from this one with the W. The Giants are stumbling and bumbling their way to the finish line, and haven’t looked anywhere near competent enough to take down Philadelphia in Week 15.

Mike Glennon has been a mess under center, and I don’t think Jake Fromm is going to do much better. Although Saquon Barkley has begun flashing some of that pre-injury lightning he become so well known for, it’s not going to be enough to topple the Eagles on the road.

Jalen Hurts has another productive game both through the air and on the ground, and the Philadelphia defense does its part to secure the win. As long as the wins keep coming for the Eagles, they’ll be right in the thick of it when the final playoff seedings are set in January.

Prediction: Eagles win 23-9 | Spread: Eagles (-10)
