2022 NFL Free Agency: Players most likely to leave AFC North

Baltimore Ravens: Sammy Watkins, WR

The Baltimore Ravens have plenty of needs on both sides of the ball, and unless he’s taking another big discount, they probably won’t be able to retain Sammy Watkins.

Watkins is a good player whose consistency just has not been there.

He should get another chance at the age of 29 to prove he’s still got the ability to at least be a high-end WR2 somewhere in this league.

Cincinnati Bengals: Riley Reiff, OL

Riley Reiff recently landed on IR for the Bengals and considering the fact that he signed just a one-year deal, it’s not much of a stretch to predict his departure as the Bengals seek more long-term solutions on the offensive line.

Cleveland Browns: David Njoku, TE

Although the Browns could have traded him about a million times at this point, they’ve stuck it out through Njoku’s rookie contract and he has stuck it out as well.

This guy is too young and too talented not to be an impact player at the tight end position. I’d bet on him becoming an absolute stud at his next stop.

Pittsburgh Steelers: JuJu Smith-Schuster

Smith-Schuster almost left the Steelers in the 2021 offseason but decided instead to come back for another year with Ben Roethlisberger.

Now, heading into 2022, it’s fair to wonder what the future holds for both Smith-Schuster and Roethlisberger. I don’t think either will be back with the Steelers in 2022.
