Melvin Gordon, a new journeyman

Melvin Gordon is a very underrated running back in the NFL. With the Broncos drafting Javonte Williams, a lot of people have turned away from Gordon. I think he still has a lot left in the tank and can become the next journeyman of running backs.

When I say journeyman, I mean finding his way to different teams and making a contribution. Melvin Gordan can still give RB2 numbers any given week and that is with splitting carries with Javonte Williams.

It was just in Week 14 that Melvin and Javonte both finished as RB1s. There is one team that always comes to my mind when it comes to needing a running back that can carry the load.

The Miami Dolphins backfield is a mess. Melvin Gordon can easily split carries or even a 60/40 role with Myles Gaskin. Gaskin is not an every-down back and cannot handle 20 plus carries like Gordon.

Just this past week, Duke Johnson outplayed and out-snapped Gaskin and was the RB1 for week 15. I think Melvin Gordon can make an instant impact in Miami and be a valuable fantasy running back that can be taken in the later rounds of drafts.
