The Philadelphia Eagles need a fresh identity and have a vast amount of draft picks to plug holes in this 2022 Mock Draft.

The 2021 NFL season is winding down, and eventually, the Philadelphia Eagles will be on the clock in the 2022 NFL Draft in Las Vegas.

Armed with three first-round draft picks, the brass in the city of Brotherly Love will be looking to take the next step in restoring the glory that once descended upon this franchise. Just four years ago, this team stood atop the chilly mountains of Minneapolis as Super Bowl Champions. Since then, the fall has been steady and disappointing, even with the Double-Doink bouncing in their favor against Chicago.

The Philadelphia Eagles return to their championship-building roots in the 2022 NFL Mock Draft.

It’s been a long road for the Eagles, and both sides of the ball have gaping holes that need to be filled. Offensively, the line needs fresh blood. Moreover, outside of DeVonta Smith, the wide receiver corps could use some help. Regardless of whether Jalen Hurts or Gardner Minshew turns out to take the snaps, they will need help.

Defensively, only Fletcher Cox and Darius Slay can be relied upon, and the rest of the unit is a toss-up. The linebacker core needs addressing first and foremost, as does the defensive line. While Anthony Harris and Rodney McCleod are currently enrolled in the starting lineup, it would be wise to insert K’Von Wallace instead, as he is both young and aggressive, core traits that could benefit in the long haul but that’s just a thought.

That said, enough is enough, and it’s time for a change. In this case, we take a look at what could potentially transpire in April for the Philadelphia Eagles with their first three picks.
